Recognizing exceptional service to ORBA and the building industry.
The President’s Service Award honors individuals who provided exceptional service, dedicated leadership and lasting contributions to ORBA and the building industry. This prestigious recognition celebrates those whose commitment and support help strengthen ORBA and our community for generations to come.
Don Jacobsen established Cleveland Exteriors in 2003 and has spent more than two decades supporting the local building industry and the greater Cleveland community. A longtime pillar of ORBA, Don consistently invests back into the area through material contributions and volunteer work for initiatives like Habitat for Humanity builds and the Isaiah 117 House.
During his time owning and operating the event venue The Southern Charm, Don graciously partnered with ORBA to host monthly luncheon meetings, charity events, and the association’s annual holiday parties, offering members a first-class space to connect. Today, Don continues to invest in his trade, having recently constructed a spacious new showroom and warehouse at the Cleveland Exteriors site on Waterlevel Highway.
At home, Don cherishes time with his two children and three grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman and traveler, he enjoys spending his free time hunting, fishing, and boating with family.
A partner alongside Keith Jones at KACE Construction & Developments, Charlotte Peak has dedicated her life and career to building up Bradley County. With construction roots tracing back to high school and values passed down by her parents, Kermit and Linda Peak, Charlotte pairs industry expertise with an extraordinary commitment to service.
Much of ORBA’s day-to-day momentum is thanks to Charlotte’s dedication behind the scenes, where she has volunteered countless hours serving as the association’s Executive Officer since 2013. That same servant leadership extends directly into the community. Over the years, Charlotte has put her skills to work on vital local projects—from building homes with Habitat for Humanity and supporting the Isaiah 117 House, to renovating Johnston Park and the local juvenile facility, constructing duplexes for Life Bridges, and updating restrooms for the Civitan Club.
Charlotte takes special pride in family legacy, with several nieces and nephews, including Zack and Tanner Peak, carrying on the trade. Outside of work, she and her husband, Norman Hammond, enjoy traveling, riding side-by-sides through the woods, and attending Beacon Baptist Church.
